Who We Are

A Local Crew, Not a Call Center

Aqua Guard Water Damage didn't parachute into Center Line with a rented truck and a stock script. Our technicians have worked this market long enough to know which neighborhoods sit low, which ones have older cast-iron plumbing, and which zip codes call in during every heavy storm.

Every Center Line truck carries moisture meters, thermal cameras, and both standard and low-grain-refrigerant dehumidifiers, because a one-size drying setup doesn't work for every kind of Center Line home.

We also keep documentation formatted the way insurance adjusters actually want to see it, since most of our jobs end up crossing an adjuster's desk at some point.

Worth a Second Look

Signs Your Property Needs Water Damage Repair

Water damage rarely starts as a dramatic flood — it usually starts small, and these are the signs worth acting on before the damage spreads further.

A Ceiling Stain That Keeps Coming Back

Fresh paint over an old stain can hide the problem visually for a month or two, right up until the drywall paper backing gives out.

A Basement That Smells Different Than It Used To

A musty note that wasn't there a season ago usually means microbial growth has started somewhere behind a wall or under flooring, well before you can see anything.

Flooring That Feels Different Underfoot

Flooring that shifts slightly when you walk on it, even subtly, is worth a moisture reading before it gets worse.

A Water Bill That Jumped for No Reason

A sudden increase in usage with no change in household habits is often the earliest sign of a slab leak, well before any visible water shows up.

Paint or Wallpaper Lifting Away From the Wall

Bubbling paint near a baseboard or exterior wall usually means moisture is pushing through from behind rather than a simple application defect.

Any Visible Mold, Even a Small Patch

Dark spotting around grout lines or window frames is frequently the first visible sign of a developing moisture problem.

Catching two or more of these signs at once usually means it's past time for a proper inspection.

Core Services

The Full Water Damage Repair Process, Start to Finish

Bouncing between an extraction company, a drying company, and a repair contractor is how small jobs turn into weeks-long headaches — we keep all three under one roof on purpose.

Every service below gets the same documentation standard, whether it's a single wet closet or a full commercial loss.

Emergency Extraction, First Hour Priority

Moisture meters classify the water as Category 1, 2, or 3 on arrival, which determines whether it's a straightforward extraction or a full contamination protocol.

Structural Drying, Tracked With Real Numbers

We don't call a structure dry based on a visual check — the moisture meter has the final say before equipment comes down.

Category 3 & Sewage Cleanup

Materials that had direct contact with contaminated water almost always come out rather than get dried in place — that's a safety call, not a cost-cutting one.

Mold Prevention Built Into the Drying Plan

If mold has already started, containment with negative air pressure goes up before any demolition begins, so spores don't travel to unaffected rooms.

Reconstruction Under the Same Contract

Reconstruction starts from the actual drying documentation, not a fresh guess, which keeps the repair scope accurate.

Content Pack-Out & Cleaning

Furniture, electronics, and documents get assessed on-site, with salvageable items cleaned and stored while the space dries.

How It Works

Our Water Damage Repair Response, Step by Step

Four steps, no guesswork — here's exactly what happens between your call and a verified-dry structure.

Dispatch Picks Up

Real person, real questions, fast routing — the goal is getting a truck moving within minutes of hanging up.

Technician Maps the Damage

Photo and moisture documentation happens before any equipment gets touched, which protects your insurance claim later.

Extraction, Then Drying

Standing water comes out first with commercial extraction equipment, then air movers and dehumidifiers go to work based on the readings just taken.

Verified Dry, Then Repaired

Every affected area gets re-tested before we call the job complete — no shortcuts on the sign-off.

Why Choose Us

What Sets Aqua Guard Water Damage Apart

We built the checklist below around the actual complaints people have about restoration companies in general, then made sure Aqua Guard Water Damage doesn't repeat them.

Licensed & Insured

Every technician carries IICRC certification, and every crew works fully insured — documentation available whenever you want it.

Fast Local Dispatch

Shorter drive times matter most in the first hour after a loss, which is exactly when local staging pays off.

Upfront Flat-Rate Pricing

You get a written estimate before equipment turns on, not a surprise invoice after the fact.

Backed by a Real Guarantee

Every job closes with a documented re-inspection, not a handshake and an invoice.

We Verify Before We Call It Done

We'd rather run a dehumidifier an extra day on our dime than sign off on a reading we're not confident in.

The standard doesn't change based on job size — a single bathroom flood gets the same sign-off criteria as a full commercial loss.

What Customers Tell Us Afterward

★★★★★

"What stood out was how calm the technician stayed while explaining a genuinely stressful situation — that mattered more than I expected."

Renee A., Center Line
★★★★★

"They found mold starting behind our baseboards before it spread and handled containment properly instead of painting over it like a previous company tried."

Owen D., Center Line
★★★★★

"Professional from the first call to the final walkthrough, and they re-tested moisture before closing the job instead of eyeballing it."

Fatima J., Center Line
★★★★★

"The reconstruction crew matched our original flooring almost exactly after the repair — you'd never guess there was ever a leak."

Lucas P., Center Line
★★★★★

"We had a slow leak for weeks without noticing, and thermal imaging found moisture in a spot we never would have checked ourselves."

Grace T., Center Line
★★★★★

"Our office flooded overnight and industrial equipment was already running before our staff arrived for the morning shift."

Nathaniel W., Center Line
★★★★★

"A cracked supply line under our kitchen sink went unnoticed for days, and by the time we called, the subfloor was saturated. They only replaced what actually tested wet, not the whole floor."

Bianca H., Center Line
★★★★★

"Storm runoff got into our crawl space and the smell alone told us something was wrong. They found a failed vapor barrier and fixed the actual cause during the same visit."

Derek S., Center Line
★★★★★

"They found the actual source of the leak instead of just drying the surface damage, which saved us from the same problem happening again in a month."

Melissa C., Center Line
★★★★★

"A dishwasher supply line failed while we were on vacation and came home to a soaked kitchen floor. They handled the extraction, drying, and coordination with our property manager without us having to fly back early."

FAQ

Questions We Hear Most Often

How fast can a Water Damage Repair technician arrive in Center Line, MI?▼
Crews staged inside Center Line typically reach an active water loss in under an hour, since trucks aren't dispatched from a distant office.
Do you provide upfront pricing?▼
Yes — every job starts with a written flat-rate estimate before any equipment turns on, so there's no surprise line item later.
What emergency services do you offer?▼
Our emergency line covers 24/7 water extraction, structural drying, sewage cleanup, mold prevention, and reconstruction under one call.
Do you work with insurance companies directly?▼
Yes, we document every job with photos and moisture logs formatted for insurance claims and can speak with your adjuster directly.
How is contaminated water classified?▼
We follow IICRC standards: Category 1 is clean, Category 2 is gray water with some contamination, and Category 3 is black or sewage water requiring full protocols.
How long does drying usually take?▼
Timing depends on the materials affected and how long they stayed wet, tracked daily with moisture logs instead of an estimate.
Will drywall or flooring need to come out?▼
We remove only what the moisture readings and contamination level require, not as a default step, to keep repair costs down.
Can you help prevent mold after a leak?▼
Mold prevention is built into our drying protocol, not sold separately, since anything wet more than two days carries real risk.
Are you available outside normal business hours?▼
Our dispatch line runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, holidays included, since water damage doesn't wait for business hours.
What should I do while waiting for the crew?▼
If it's safe, shut off the water source, move valuables to a dry area, and stay clear of outlets near standing water until we arrive.
Do you handle commercial properties?▼
Commercial losses get the same extraction and drying protocol as residential work, just with larger equipment as needed.
Is it worth calling about a small leak?▼
A small leak left alone is exactly how hidden mold problems start, so it's worth a moisture check even if the visible damage looks minor.
What information should I have ready when I call?▼
It helps to know roughly where the water's coming from and whether it looks clean or contaminated, though we'll walk you through it if you're not sure.
Do you guarantee your drying results?▼
Yes — if moisture readings don't hit a safe standard on schedule, we keep equipment running at no extra charge until they do, verified with a second reading before we close the job.
Can I stay in my home during the drying process?▼
In most cases yes, especially if the affected area can be isolated from the rest of the living space, though we'll walk you through any air quality considerations specific to your situation.
Top rated local Water Damage Repair specialists in Center Line, MI
Historically, the land that Center Line came to occupy was swamp and wilderness until the early nineteenth century. As land became scarce, French, German, Belgian, and Irish immigrants began clearing the forests and draining the swamps. Center Line was known as "Kunrod's Corner" during the mid-nineteenth century. The theory is that the French named it "Center Line" because it was the middle of three Potawatomi trails from Fort Detroit to northern trading posts. The "center line" was the trail used from Detroit to Utica. The community received its initial start when Catholics decided to build a church so that they would not have to walk to St. Mary's in Detroit for Sunday Mass. This church (St. Clement's) was established in 1854 and attracted more Catholic settlers into the area. In 1863, the first general store was constructed by Joeseph Buechel. On July 19, 1878, Hieronymous Engelmann was the first postmaster, and he was succeeded in 1885 by Sophia Buechel. The "Centre Line" post office closed on July 31, 1906, and the name was restored to Center Line thereafter. In this era, street car tracks connected Detroit to Center Line along Van Dyke Road, and Ten Mile Road was the final stop of the street car. The village was incorporated in 1925 in the center of Warren Township, which is now the city of Warren, and was incorporated as a city in 1936.
